Green Bay Running Backs 2022

Green Bay Running Backs 2022

Depth Chart

With Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon returning, the Green Bay Packers' running back depth chart is set for 2022. Jones is the clear-cut lead back, while Dillon will serve as his primary backup. Kylin Hill and Patrick Taylor round out the depth chart, but they are unlikely to play a significant role in the offense.

Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones is one of the most talented running backs in the NFL. He is a versatile back who can do it all. He is a good runner and receiver and can also be a threat on special teams. Jones is coming off a season in which he rushed for 1,121 yards and nine touchdowns. He also caught 52 passes for 391 yards and six touchdowns. Jones is expected to be the Packers' lead back again in 2022 and should be a key part of their offense.

AJ Dillon

AJ Dillon is a powerful running back who is a good complement to Jones. Dillon is a big back who can run between the tackles and wear down defenses. He is also a good receiver and can be used in the passing game. Dillon is coming off a season in which he rushed for 715 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 18 passes for 153 yards. Dillon is expected to be the Packers' primary backup running back in 2022 and should see a significant amount of playing time.

Kylin Hill

Kylin Hill is a rookie running back who has a lot of potential. Hill was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL draft. He is a quick and elusive back who can make defenders miss in the open field. Hill is also a good receiver and can be used in the passing game. Hill is expected to compete for a roster spot in 2022 and could be a valuable contributor to the Packers' offense.

Patrick Taylor

Patrick Taylor is a second-year running back who is looking to make a name for himself in 2022. Taylor was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He is a powerful back who can run between the tackles and gain tough yards. Taylor is also a good receiver and can be used in the passing game. Taylor is expected to compete for a roster spot in 2022 and could be a valuable contributor to the Packers' offense.
